Beaded Christening Cake

This was a two tier christening cake with a flower burst from the top tier. Around each tier there is a pale pink ribbon and each tier is circled with gold wire which has pale pink and ivory beads threaded onto it. The top tier and board are decorated with modelled blossoms which have a crystal bead centre and pale pink powder colour edges.



4" and 7" chocolate cake sandwiched with chocolate buttercream. The 7" tier is dowelled to support the top tier. Both cakes are coated in a pale pink sugarpaste. The cakes are placed on a large circular board which is coated in pale pink sugarpaste and piped with white royal icing 'Annabelle Maisie' who is being christened. The board is edged in pale pink ribbon.
