This was a cake I made for a Mum who was getting all three of her children christened at once and having a big family party. She wanted a cake which reflected the religious meaning in the day, and to have all of the children's first and middle names on the cake, in a neutral colour. After I'd piped the children's names in the pale green, and placed the church I had made on the cake it looked a little bare, because it was such a big cake, and I added the ivy leaves interwined around. Imagine my surprise when the Mum told me that she was overjoyed because ivy had been in her wedding bouquet! A very happy coincidence!
