This was a wedding cake I made for a bride who had a beautiful hearts and doves theme at her wedding, with pale pink and silver as her colourway. She wanted a three tier heart-shaped cake, with very simple lines, in a very pale pink. The ivory roses cascaded down the cake. The doves on the top of the cake were provided by the bride.
Three tier maderia cakes, heart-shaped 10", 7", 4" tiers, sandwiched with strawberry jam and vanilla buttercream, coated in pale pink sugarpaste. Presented on a large heart-shaped board coated in pale pink sugarpaste and edged with a pale pink ribbon.
